Terms of Service

Northdesk (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides the www.northdesk.ca site and related services (collectively, the “Site”) to you (“User”), subject to your compliance with these Terms of Service (“Terms”). By accessing or using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using our Site immediately.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any changes. Material changes will be effective either when you continue to use the Site with knowledge of them, or 30 days after publication on this page.

Our Services

Northdesk provides outsourced virtual assistant services. To ensure quality and fairness, all accounts and service plans are non-transferable. Tasks under your plan cannot be resold or given away, though you may purchase additional plans for others. Each plan has a defined monthly limit, and unused hours do not roll over to the next month.

Billing & Payments

All subscriptions are billed monthly at advertised or contracted rates. Payments must be completed within 48 hours of billing; otherwise, Northdesk reserves the right to suspend or terminate services until payment is received. Custom solutions or specialized services may include additional fees.

Service Requests & Tasks

Tasks must be submitted via phone, email, or online form. You may request multiple tasks at once. A dedicated virtual assistant will be assigned to your account, and you may request a replacement at no additional cost. Replacement assignments will typically take 1–2 weeks.

Ownership & Confidentiality

Any original work created for you (“Work Product”)—such as research, templates, or reports—may be used by you for personal or commercial purposes under a perpetual, royalty-free license. You retain ownership of your confidential information and intellectual property. Northdesk will not disclose or use your confidential information except as required by law or to protect rights and property.

Data Protection

We respect the privacy and protection of your data. If you end your relationship with Northdesk, you may request full deletion of your personal data from our records. You may also request an electronic copy of your data (“data portability”).

Guarantee & Warranty

Northdesk strives to provide accurate and effective services. However, we do not guarantee error-free results and disclaim liability for incorrect or incomplete outcomes. Our commitment is to always deliver our best effort.

Termination of Service

We reserve the right to terminate services at any time, with or without cause. If terminated by us, you will receive a prorated refund for any unused portion of your subscription. Reasons for termination may include abusive behavior, repeated requests outside the agreed scope, or unlawful requests. If you wish to terminate service, we require 30 days’ notice.

Non-Solicitation

By using our services, you agree not to directly or indirectly solicit any Northdesk virtual assistant for independent engagement during your membership and for 24 months after termination. Any violation of this non-solicitation clause may result in liquidated damages equal to two years of your subscription fees.

Children’s Use

Northdesk services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or maintain information from minors.

Your Acceptance

By using this Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms of Service and agree to be bound by them. Continued use after changes are posted will constitute your acceptance of those changes.
